Terms of service
These terms govern your use of this website, operated by Backlog LLC ("Backlog," "we," "us"). By using the site or booking a call, you agree to them. If your practice becomes a client, the signed services agreement and Business Associate Agreement between your practice and Backlog govern the services and take precedence over these terms wherever they differ.
What this site is
This site describes Backlog's credentialing and billing services for behavioral health practices and lets you book a call or request a free review. Nothing on this site is an offer to provide services, and no client or business-associate relationship exists until a services agreement and, where applicable, a Business Associate Agreement are signed. This site is not for transmitting patient information; see our privacy policy.
Booking a call and free reviews
When you book or request a review, you agree to provide accurate practice and contact information and to use the booking for a genuine business inquiry. You represent that you are authorized to act for the practice you name. Free reviews are informational summaries prepared from information your practice provides; they are not audits, legal opinions, or guarantees of recoverable amounts. We may decline or cancel any booking or review request at our discretion.
The numbers described on this site
The performance commitments summarized on our home page — including net collection rate, denial rate, days in accounts receivable, first-pass acceptance, and lapse prevention — describe commitments offered to clients. Their exact definitions, measurement methods, conditions, and remedies are set out in the services agreement, which controls. They are commitments about Backlog's work, not predictions of any practice's results, which depend on payer conduct, documentation, and other factors outside our control. Nothing on this site is legal, tax, clinical, or coding advice.
Communications
By booking a call you agree that we may contact you by phone and email about your booking and inquiry. We do not operate a text-message program from this website.
Intellectual property
The content of this site — text, design, logo, and images — belongs to Backlog LLC. You may view and share it to evaluate our services. You may not copy it for commercial use or present it as your own.
Acceptable use
Do not use this site to submit false information, transmit patient information, interfere with the site's operation, attempt to access systems you are not authorized to use, or scrape or harvest contact data.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
This site is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Backlog LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or of any free review. Liability relating to services provided to clients is governed exclusively by the services agreement and, where applicable, the Business Associate Agreement.
Third-party services
Booking and video calls rely on third-party providers, including our scheduling platform and Google Meet. Their terms and privacy practices apply to your use of those services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
