Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Backlog LLC ("Backlog," "we," "us") collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors of this site and to people who book a call with us here. It does not cover the homeowner-facing systems we build and operate for our roofing clients; those are governed by each client's own privacy practices.
What we collect
When you book a discovery call, we collect the information you enter in the booking form: your name, email address, phone number, and any notes you add. We also receive standard technical information from your browser, such as IP address, device type, and pages viewed, through our website and scheduling provider.
How we use it
- To schedule and hold the call you booked, including sending the Google Meet invitation and any confirmation, reminder, reschedule, or cancellation notices by email.
- To respond to questions you send us.
- If you become a client, to set up and support your account under our service agreement.
- To operate and secure this website.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Text messages (SMS)
Backlog LLC does not send marketing text messages. If you book a call on this site, the booking form asks you to agree to receive automated text messages from Backlog LLC about your appointment. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and you can reply HELP for assistance or email [email protected]. Opting out of text messages does not affect your ability to work with us by phone or email.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run this site and our scheduling: our website and CRM platform, Google (for calendar and Google Meet), and our email provider. They process your information only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and contact information for as long as we have an active relationship with you or a legitimate business reason to retain it, such as records of consent and opt-out requests, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP and of non-essential email by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be posted on this page.
